Dear All,
I am delighted to present to you the Sixth Edition of KaryoUS - The Science Magazine, which is attached to this email. In this edition, students from various institutions have come together to compile a collection of fascinating facts and insights on the theme of 'Indian Mythology and the Science Behind It.' This edition features snippets of news, articles, and book reviews to deliver this knowledge. Additionally, you will find the latest updates from diverse fields of science and information about the recent STEM programs undertaken by KaryoUS.
This magazine is the result of a collaborative effort by students across six Shiv Nadar Institutions, namely Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, Noida, and Gurgaon, Vidyagyan Bulandshahr and Sitapur, and Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida. The leadership for this edition was provided by Ms. Suhana, from the Faridabad campus.
We sincerely hope that you thoroughly enjoy reading this edition, as much as we enjoyed working together to create it. We eagerly look forward to your valuable contributions on various topics, including faculty members, for future editions. Your participation will help us fully realize the potential of this project. IBDP 2023 results
We are delighted to share the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) Results of Shiv Nadar School Gurugram for the exam session May 2023 which was released on 6th July 2023. This is our third batch who had started the programme with 19 students in June 2021 amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. After one year of online schooling, though we were grateful to come back to offline school, we had continued intermittent disruptions and especially going back to normalcy with the full syllabus and whole range of assessment components has not been easy. Our students have shown continued resilience and self-regulation through the challenging research-oriented Diploma Program which culminated in the written exams in May 2023. We are extremely proud of them!
We heartily congratulate all our IB DP students and teachers of the 2023 cohort for their hard work and sustained efforts against all odds. We would like to thank the parents and grandparents for their continued support and encouragement during this rigorous two-year journey.
