Kumar Abhijit Banerjee
Head – Administration & Operations
Lt Col Abhijit Banerjee, SM (Retd) is the Head of Administration & Operations of the school. He’s an army veteran with a varied experience spanning over 22 years and has joined the team in 2024.
Abhijit has tenanted various important appointments in Administrative, Operational, Instructional and International Defence Cooperation roles. He was awarded ‘Sena Medal’ for his gallantry in Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism Operations. He has been an instructor at the elite Armoured Corps College and School and Counter Insurgency & Counter Terrorism Battle Schools. He has also held the position of Joint Director (Security) at the sensitive Interim National Command Post and Joint Director (IDC) wherein he carried International Defence Cooperation with the foreign countries. He has a proven track record in Project Management, Learning & Development and Change Management.
He is an alumnus of prestigious “OTA - Chennai”, “FMS - Delhi” and “IIM - Lucknow”. Also he’s a sports enthusiast with a passion for learning new things and enjoys long drives
