Aayra Kakkar, a Grade 5 Corbett student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, showcased remarkable skill at the 23rd All Haryana State Kickboxing Championship 2024. Held at the Haryana State Sports Complex, she secured two Gold Medals in Point Fight and Kick Light, along with a Bronze Medal in Creative Form. Aayra competed in the 10 to 12-year age group, impressing in the -32kg category. Her achievements reflect dedication and talent, bringing pride to her school and supporters.
Aadya Kakkar Wins Gold
Aadya Kakkar, a Grade 2 student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, recently participated in the 23rd State Kickboxing Championship held at Haryana Sports Complex from May 3-5, 2024. She achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Gold Medal in Point Fight in the 7-9 (-24 kg) category. Chess Champion Pranit Rastogi
Pranit Rastogi, a Grade 2 student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, showcased his chess prowess by winning first place in the Under 7 category at the Future Champions Chess Tournament held at Laurel High School, Pitampura, New Delhi. He also participated in the Global Chess Tournament on May 4th at Ramagya School, Noida, securing third place in the Under 13 category.
Kiara Gera excels in Kickboxing
Kiara Gera, a Grade 3 Kanha student, shined at the 23rd All Haryana State Kickboxing Championship on 4th and 5th May 2024, securing Silver Medals in the Kick Light and Point Fight events. Her outstanding performance has earned her a spot in the upcoming National Kickboxing Championship scheduled for the end of May 2024.
Pranit Rastogi: A Rising Star in Chess
Pranit Rastogi, a Grade 2 student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, has been making remarkable strides in the chess arena. He recently emerged as the District Champion in the Under 7 category for the financial year 2024-25, maintaining an undefeated streak in all five games in his category, a notable achievement. Pranit also participated in the higher District category Under 9, securing third place. His success continued at the Global Champ Rapid Chess Tournament, where he clinched the first prize in both the Under 8 and Under 10 categories, remaining undefeated in all his games at Ramagya School Chess Tournament.
Most recently, Pranit won the first prize in the Under 8 category at the IPEN Chess Tournament at R.K. Chokshi School of Chess in Faridabad. Pranit's dedication and talent have truly set him apart as a rising star in the world of chess. He continued his winning streak by securing first prize in the Under 8 category at the Global Chess Tournament in Noida and second prize at the 3rd NCR Chess Tournament in Ghaziabad.
On May 19th, Pranit participated in the Faridabad Open District Chess Championship held at G.D. Goenka Public School Sec 89, Faridabad, where he won second prize in the Under 9 category. He also participated in the Under 9 Tournament held at Ramagya School Noida on May 25th, winning first prize and remaining unbeatable in all his games.
Iha Joshi wins U-16 Tennis
Iha Joshi, a Grade 8 Corbett student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Tennis Girls Under-16 Championship Series held in Delhi from 15th to 19th April 2024. Despite being four years younger than the age group, Iha's (12-year-old )skill and determination secured her victory, showcasing her exceptional talent and promising future in tennis.
