The learners of Grade 5 at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad conducted a meaningful and thought provoking class assembly on the theme “Human Emotions Count, Bullying Doesn’t.” Through their confident presentation, the students highlighted the importance of kindness, empathy, inclusion, and respectful behaviour towards others, encouraging their peers to reflect on the impact of words and actions in everyday interactions.
The assembly carried powerful and sensitive messages such as “Think before you speak” and “Our words are powerful. They can hurt… or they can heal. Let’s choose wisely.” Through discussions, presentations, and reflections, students emphasised the significance of creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
The learners thoughtfully conveyed that true happiness lies in uplifting others and ensuring that everyone smiles together. The assembly served as an important reminder of the role empathy, understanding, and responsible behaviour play in building positive relationships and nurturing a caring school community.
The initiative reflected Shiv Nadar School Faridabad’s continued commitment towards fostering emotional wellbeing, student voice, and a culture of mutual respect and inclusivity within the learning environment.
