Kite Flying Festival 2020
As a Parent Representative Group led event, in collaboration with Parent Partnership Office, Shiv Nadar School, Noida celebrated Uttarayan by organizing the Kite Flying Festival.
According to the Indian calendar, the festival of Uttarayan marks the day when winter begins to turn into summer. The festival symbolizes the northward journey of the Sun and the advent of the harvest season after a long spell of winter.
Colorful kites of different shapes and sizes adorned the skyline, offering quite a beautiful sight for the viewers. Even though the weather was foggy, cold and wet, the energy of the place was high. Grandparents and parents got a chance to relive the memories of their childhood and cheerfully celebrated the day with their children.
